We started making plans to build a new home about 4 years ago.  Early in the process of working with our builder and architect, we started working with one of Lewis Nursery and Landscaping’s design professionals..  Our lot, with many trees, necessitated having a wall in the front with several levels, and a walk-out lower level with a small patio and wall.  Lewis Nursery  & Landscaping worked closely with us and our builder (Tony Ernst) to get the desired effect that we were trying to achieve.

We appreciated the computer-generated plan that included all of your designer’s proposals; he worked closely with our builder to design and incorporate a deck in the back of the house.

Our actual planting was completed in phases over the past 3 to 4 year period, and we have been pleased with the process and results.  The employees assigned to our job were very eager to co-operate.

We have been very pleased with our association with Lewis Nursery & Landscaping, and would recommend that you include them in your landscaping plans.

I am writing to express my delight with the work that you have done for me this past year.  When I bought my home in November of 2000 I knew that while this had been a professionally landscaped model home thirty years ago that it was now overgrown with shrubs covered with vines.  I needed help clearing, planting a lawn, and designing gardens, so I called Lewis Nursery.

I wanted to let you know how enjoyable it has been working with you.  Form the onset, you listened to our wants and desires and you interpreted all of them to our satisfaction.  Your professional knowledge helped us evaluate our “wants” and turn the in to realistic and proportionate plant choices for our size home.  You also were able to interpret our ‘style” of the house and coordinate a planting plan that enhanced the house from the street.

I was quite impressed with the team that did the installation.  They arrived on time, did the job, answered all of my questions, cleaned up and were gone in one morning.

Most importantly, you selected the most beautiful specimens for our job.  The trees were taller than we expected, perfectly straight trunks, and appear to be healthy.  The reworking of our stone wall was done by the team with ease and perfection, forming beautiful, flowing lines.

My wife and I have a terraced back yard and the terraces are held up with rotting Rail Road Ties that were al least 16 years old.  We knew they were termite infested and wanted them ripped out and something else put in its place.  By the way the wall is 200 feet long and contains steps to a second and 3^rd level of the back yard.  We knew this was not an easy project.

Living in Bellbrook we called Lewis Nursery and Landscaping.  The designer came right out and to our surprise, Brent Lewis the owner.

They looked the massive project over and a day later gave us a design and a price.

We said ok to both and the very next day a crew of tidy workmen showed up with their BobCat bulldozer.  They ripped out the rotting lumber and disposed of it immediately and prepared the base of the wall for concrete Keystones that the designer had recommended in his design/proposal.

It took 2 weeks to complete and I must say that every scrap of wood, or concrete of anything was picked up every night before they left.

We are very happy with our new all and steps.  All the neighbors are envious.

Dear Brent,

Chuck and I are so pleased with our landscaping installed over the last two years by Lewis Nursery and Landscaping.  While out watering in the last few days, both of us have received compliments from many neighbors on the plants, trees and layout.  As you know, we live on a prominent corner in our neighborhood and our neighbor across the street told us we have the best landscaping in the neighborhood.

Our experience with Lewis has been exceptional.  The design team and the crew are top-notch.  We explained in layman terms what we would like in a finished product and your team was able to deliver!  Any questions or concerns were always addressed promptly and to our satisfaction.  Betty and Jerry follow through on the details and are a pleasure to work with.  Jerry was part of the crew both years and is very professional.  You are to be commended for retaining such a fine employee.
